Landscaping

 

A landscape created in World Creator 3 (beta). Imported into Blender 3.1 using the material node system. This now seems to offer the best results by far. Firstly, it seems to more readily support 32bit height maps, in this case an EXR format, usually used for HDR maps. The performance is better than if the displacement is stored as a mesh.





Mucking about with some standard Blender fog. Nothing clever, yet.

Breakthrough.. I think

  World-Creator limits its sculpt tile to 1024x1024 pixels. You just can't make fine-detailed terrains or coastlines with the sculpt lay...
