A model I'd been playing with over the last week. I'll create some deck plans soon, so that this place can be used in a science fiction role-playing game.

Busy times

First bash |
I've not had as much time to throw at Blender as I'd have liked. We're still decorating the new ground-floor extension. Next week I have a lot of new furniture arriving, so that's going to eat into my Blender time.
Right now: Space Refuge.

Time of Transition
I'm nearing the end of my summer vacation -- second week at home. We have a ground floor extension which should have some final touching up completed today. Tomorrow, desks and chairs arrive for my new office -- freeing up the third bedroom, so my two boys can finally have rooms of their own.
So I'm not getting a huge amount of Blender time.
Playing with ideas for a space station orbiting a planet. I want a moon-like planet. |

Extenion in RL. Note the gap above the office door. That gets fixed today. |
I bought another plugin!
Sanctus Library of procedural materials. Looks great! I only had a brief play with it yesterday.

A Week without Blender (Holiday in North Wales)
Black Rock Sands, a filming location for the 1971 Macbeth. Really cool beach, perfect for three witches or regular tourists.
This was a quick play around. I didn't have too much source material for limpety sea rock, so this is far from an ideal source. I managed to make it seamless, although it as a bit too much repetition for a staring role in a Blender scene.
A little over-cooked, but adequate for some background elements. I do notice something that seems to have crept into yesterdays 3.2.2 update: the displacement is showing sampling lines. I'll need to look into that, in case I just missed a property change.
