I just learned something very important. Something I should have made it my business to learn may years ago. It changes everything!
Multiple UV maps per mesh!
Later I'll probably learn this is a hideously expensive workaround for bad UV management but today I feel like pre-crash-and-burn Icarus.
With a scond UV I can fine-tine the texture of the end of the cylinder |
